Many dogs do not have a reliable recall or may have behaviour concerns that are easiest to manage on lead. 90 per cent of the dogs we photograph are on lead fo their session! Thanks to some magic during the editing stage, we can remove your dogs lead so that it looks as though to was never there to begin with!

“My dog would never sit still” - Good news! They don’t have to! We love capturing your pet, being themselves and having fun!

“My dog is too excitable / poorly behaved”! - We hear this often from pet parents and want to take a moment to reassure you we can work with your pet! We regularly see all sorts of pets with a broad range of backgrounds and behaviours, including little to no training, excitability, anxiety or reactivity.

Every session includes a 1:1 planning appointment which takes place a few days - weeks before your photoshoot. At your appointment, we’ll chat about your pet, their specific needs and personality, to better understand how to work with them, and ensure a relaxed, fun and successful photoshoot!

• Our competition winners and runners-up have some beautiful artwork included in their prize already as well as further credit to use toward other prints and products, should they wish.

• Our viewing appointments are designed to be a fun, no-pressure affair! There is no obligation to use your artwork credit or purchase anything further.

• That said, we do see clients sad to leave behind unordered images, and would recommend waiting to book a session when you have the opportunity to invest in your pet’s images. Each session takes us many many hours to prepare for, and work on, so for both of these reasons mentioned, if you are not planning on investing in your pet’s images, we would ask you to re-consider your entry, so that we can keep that time for others that are ready ♥

• Most clients spend between $800 and $2000 on products, some more & some less. We welcome all budgets and have a range of flexible payment options to suit your needs.

I carefully monitor weather forecasts in the lead-up to each session (across six separate weather apps!). If the forecast shows poor weather is likely to affect our session, I will reach out prior to your session, to discuss rescheduling to a new date & time.
