The experience: How it works

1. Plan your dream session
Our planning appointments are the first step in our photographic experience and the best way to have all questions answered! We’ll spend time getting to know you, your needs, all learn more bout your pets and how best to work with them!

2. The Photoshoot
All sessions begin by providing your pet plenty of time to explore their new surroundings, get to know me, my equipment, and receive plenty of treats along the way! After introductions, I’ll work with your pet - utilising the things they love most (and some a few tips and tricks!) to capture stunning, full-colour photos that showcase your pet’s unique personality!

3. Viewing & ordering appointment
The moment you’ve been waiting for! View your pet’s final images & select your favourites! Appointments are client-driven meaning you decide how many images you’d like to purchase, and how you’d like to display them! Our end goal is for our clients to come away happy, with long-lasting, high-quality artwork which is there to be seen, used & loved!

4. Enjoy your Artwork & images
Once your images / Artwork is ready to go home, we will be in touch! We’re here to provide guidance and advice on the care and hanging of your Artwork, should you have any questions!
All that’s left to do is sit back and enjoy your pet’s images for years to come!
Pet FAQs

GOOD NEWS! THEY DON’T HAVE TO!This is the number one concern we hear online, at events & markets, and from our new clients. It’s the easiest question to answer and the quickest fix! (the answer? We don’t make your pet sit still!).
We capture your pet, the way they are, doing what they love! (Lucky we’re quick!). -
People often feel embarrassed if their pet is excitable, reactive, or has no training. Please don’t be! We regularly see all sorts of pets with a broad range of backgrounds - including no training at all, highly excitable, nervous or reactive. We’ll chat about your pets specific needs in your planning appointment, and work out the best way to work with them, and make them feel at ease. We’ve haven’t failed a pet parent yet! ( I hear you say “we could be the first!” and I reply, “challenge accepted!” ).

This is not a problem, in fact - most of the photos you see featured here on our website and on social media, feature dogs that were on-lead for their session. We simply remove leads later on during the editing stage.

Yes!
We photography any pet. Whilst we predominately photograph dogs, we have had clients book in sessions for their cats, horses and rabbits. We are also happy to photography birds, reptiles, rodents and more!

For clients with pets that are not able to travel / are too young, we can arrange for at-home photos. Please let us know if this is you at your planning appointment.
Session FAQs

SESSIONS ARE $175, AND INCLUDE:A 1:1 private planning appointment where we’ll plan your dream photo session.
90min photo session for up to two pets from the same household (choice of studio or outdoor session).
A ‘Viewing & ordering appointment’ at our Studio, (or online via video call), to select and purchase your favourite images, and design artwork.
A complimentary 5x7in matted print of your favourite image - OR - swap your print and receive $100 credit to use towards products, artwork, or digital file packages from your session.
Please note - No additional images or artwork is included, beyond what is outlined above. Our product prices start at $395.
Sessions dates & times - We hold our outdoor sessions on Saturdays & Sundays - generally in the late afternoon/evenings. During daylight savings, additional timeslots are opened up including some weekday-evening sessions. Our studio sessions are available on weeknights, and weekends (morning through to evening). -
I carefully monitor weather forecasts in the lead up to each session (across six separate weather apps!). If the forecast shows poor weather is likely to affect our session, I will reach out prior to your session, to discuss the possibility of rescheduling.
Overcast weather can actually provide beautiful, soft, and even light - However if the cloud cover exceeds 60 per cent, I will generally recommend rescheduling.
Heat
Australia is renowned for its glorious sunshine, but excessively warm weather can pose risks to both humans and pets. As a general rule, if the forecast predicts temperatures exceeding 32°C for outdoor sessions, it will need to reschedule. This minimises the risk of burnt paw pads and heatstroke. -
Appointments are designed to be fun, easy and low-pressure. You decide how much to spend and what to order.
Most of our clients invest $650 - $1,500, although some may spend more or less.
We welcome all budgets and offer a range of flexible payment options including:
- pay in full (via bank transfer, visa or MasterCard, PayID, cash) - OR - our interest-free payment plans through payright. including interest-free payment plans (3, 6 or 12 month plans available).

Starting prices can be found below:
$395 - Tabletop items (mini-metals & wood orbs).
$570 - Digital file packages (come in sets of 5, 10 or 15 High res files).
$575 - Our wall art comes in a range of sizes, styles and finishes.
$2,155 - Our wall art collections (3+ pieces).

For physical products & Artwork, between 4 - 6 weeks from your order being placed, following your ordering appointment.
Turn-around times may be slightly more or less depending on the items order, size of order, and turn-around times of our professional print lab and postal services.
Currently, all artwork is sent to us directly, so that we can ensure it is looking perfect before it is sent home to you. Larger artwork is collected from our Viewbank studio, whilst smaller items can either be collected or posted (depending on your preference).
Digital file orders are delivered via a private online gallery, generally 3 weeks following your ordering appointment.

Our Planning appointments are the first step of your experience and allow us to design your dream photo session! We’ll chat about whether you’d like an outdoor or studio session, how best to work with your pet (their likes, dislikes, and more), discuss if there are any particular shots you’d like us to get, and also chat about artwork options and pricing. If you’re happy and keen to go ahead - we’ll select a date for your photoshoot, at the end of your appointment.

Either! We offer both online and in-person appointments. Our online appointments are conducted as video calls via ‘google meet’, and in-person sessions are held at our studio located in Viewbank, VIC. Some clients select online appointments due to travel time or limited availability, whilst others prefer to chat face-to-face, and come in to get an up-close look and feel of all our artwork options.

Booking is easy! Simply select your preferred time and date via our online booking system and follow the prompts. Once you have booked your appointment, you should receive a confirmation email. You can also manage your booking from this email, should you need to reschedule your appointment.

If, after your planning appointment you feel we’re not the right fit for your needs, just let us know! There is nothing more to pay, and no hard feelings!
